Where should I go next?…

Norte Dame de Paris

So here I am in Paris, all settled down and getting used to city life again. The first weekend we spent one afternoon on the île de la cité. After 4 or 5 previous visits, I finally climbed the towers of Notre Dame. From what the staffs told me, there are 225 stairs from the gift shop (where you buy your ticket) to the Chimera Gallery or “la galerie des chimère” and another 125 stairs to the top, the south tower. From the Chimera Gallery where you can have a much-needed rest as well as see all the gargoyles, “gargouille” in French, (or I believe they are rather chimera since they are for decorative purpose rather than to convey water)… gargouillegargouillegargouille And a panoramic view from the south tower, the top of Notre Dame… paris notre dame
